Still though, I love how gritty and bloody that movie is. How their clothes and skin literally get covered in mud, sweat, etc. I wanted to do that for my film, but I was an idiot so I didn't pull it off at all (just put a big blood stain on my lead actress's shirt but I wanted them to be completely grimy and dirty).<br /><br />I'm all for watching a low budget monster movie instead too. Sometimes, I try to see a new slasher if the other isn't available, but I usually regret it. It's n...Yeah, I would agree with what you said. It's nice when a fresh slasher comes along that really blows your socks off, or atleast presents you with the 'same old' in a new way. Most zero budget slashers are painful enough to watch, I tend to avoid them these days. I'd much rather a low budget monster movie myself.<br /><br />I'm always hoping that a new slasher will come out and revitalise the genre again, and I'm sure it will.
